The Rodina is a post-critical design studio based in Amsterdam, developing visual communication, onsite experiences, and online platforms. Operating at the intersection of culture and technology, The Rodina’s subversive practice is shaped by strategies of play, research, and performativity.

Design Pedagogy

The Rodina exhibits, leads design workshops, and gives lectures internationally. Tereza Ruller is a Professor of Communication Design & Digital Practices at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe. Since 2018, she has been teaching at the Design Academy Eindhoven in MA Information Design, BA Communication Design, and BA in Society & Change. Her ongoing PhD research conducted at ACPA University of Leiden revolves around design happenings.
