Re-Scaling Turrell and Gaillard

We designed re-scaling tools to perform at the site of land-art. First we re-scaled Turrell's Celestial Vault, 30-meters wide and 40-meters long ellipse. This artificial volcano situated in the flat Dutch landscape was built for audience to experience the sky. We measured Turrell's Celestial Vault, 40 meters long artificial volcano functioning as a natural sky observatory and Gaillard's Dunepark, temporarily excavated burried Atlantikwall bunker from World War II exhibited as a form of negative sculpting.
