The works in this exhibition sit between technology and the body, a tension increasingly visible by the rise of AI: the promise of efficiency against the fear of dependence and loss of control. Our exhibition design answers this ambiguity with its own cultural technology—hand-painted "pockets" that carry and care for the artworks. Following Le Guin's Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction, where the bag precedes the blade, “pocketing” proposes gathering and relation-making as a technology built on care rather than control.
