Always Avoid Discussions, Never Discuss
The Rodina's solo exhibition became an inquiry into exploring intersections between art and graphic design by opening up space for dynamic, time-based, and "live" communication with the audience. How might performance and graphic design be connected both as situated practices that trace and initiate entanglements of material, semiotic, and affective apparatuses in contemporary society? "Never Discuss" focused on the gallery's architectural and institutional situation by engaging with the exhibition as a specific form of communication and by responding to the intricate layout of the space. This reflective, commentary-driven approach aligns with the fundamental principles of graphic design, where visual messaging is inseparably tied to its subject.
